Lorighittas duo - 2 packs of 250 gr

I Cagliaritani - Qui Sardinia offers bis lorighittas. Lorighittas are a typical pasta of Sardinian cuisine, and are originally from Morgongiori. They are prepared by twisting a double strand of dough between the fingers to create a braid closed in a ring (loriga, in Sardinian). Being rigorously handmade, the lorighittas are made very long (about four hours for a kilo of pasta). This delicious pasta was traditionally prepared for All Saints' Day, and today as then, simple ingredients (semolina flour and water) are used and seasoned with free-range chicken and tomatoes sauce or with a simple tomato sauce.
