Pistoccu curtain

Sardinian craftswoman Marcella Flore makes entirely by hand the Pistoccu curtain using the so called "pipiones" technique, which in Sardinian means "grape berries". Pibiones is the name of the small rings of yarn that protrude from the surface of the warp, forming a motif.This cream-coloured linen motif stands out on the lighter fabric. Pistoccu curtain has a hand-made "gigliuccio" finish, an embroidery stitch from Marche's ancient school, still used for trimming and decorating bed linen or curtains. For these reasons, Pistoccu curtain will embellish the windows of every room of the house.
