The fregula by Pastificio Trigale dei F.lli Pinna contains exclusively Sardinian wheat and spring water that flew from the highest peaks of Gallura. The fregula has the shape of a small sphere. Its name, translated from the oldest Sardinian language, means "crumb" and has a thousand-year history. The consistency of fregula pasta is leathery and spongy. It is perfect both with fish condiments, such as soups and broths, and with meat condiments, such as wild boar, lamb or roe deer ragù.
