The only ingredients of malloreddus by Pastificio Trigale dei F.lli Pinna are Sardinian wheat and spring water. After a very slow drying, malloreddus are ready with their tapered shape of about 2 cm and marked by the typical lines. In Sardinian tradition, malloreddus were prepared at home by housekeepers and have always been the most consumed and well-known dish in Sardinia. The malloreddus by Pastificio Trigale are perfect with any type of seasoning, but the most common one is the Campidanese sauce (tomato sauce with sausage and aged Sardinian pecorino).
