Cantina Trexenta's Alter Nos wine is a DOC Superior Sardinian Monica. Its name honors the tradition paying tribute to the Alter Nos, who represents the meeting between religiousness and authority during Sant'Efisio ceremony, one of the most heartfelt festivals in Sardinia. Ruby red in colour, this Sardinian DOC wine has an intense and enveloping scent, with red fruit hints, wild blackberries, plum, light balsamic, vanilla and spicy notes. On the palate, Alter Nos is a structured, harmonious and velvety wine. It goes perfectly with pastas, risottos, red meats, lamb and medium-aged cheeses.
