Granitu Sardinian Engagement Ring

Granitu Sardinian engagement ring is a jewel made by the goldsmith company Filigrana Vadilonga. It is also known as the "Nuorese" ring, since its use comes from the innermost areas of the island. It consists of a base plate, above which are welded a series of so called "canottigli", which in turn are the basis of many grains. The stem, composed of 5 gold threads, is subsequently welded to the upper shield according to the size of the finger. Each piece is signed by the craftsman. All Vadilonga filigrees are still made exclusively by hand, using ancient techniques and machinery.
