Agrobass was born in Guspini, a small country in the south-west of Sardinia, from an idea of Alessandro Mancosu. He is a young man who decided, after many years abroad, to come back to the island and to revive its family business. Agrobass’s products are born from the love for the territory, it aimed to enrich the Sardinian food tradition with new crops. Agrobass cultivates certified ancient grains, then transformed into flours, spelt and barley. The company started also the cultivation of hemp, joying the Sardinian Cannabis Sativa chain, specially the inflorescences, which are the valuable part of hemp. Agrobass wants to contribute to the local economy with an innovative but also traditional supply chain.
