The Lotta Winery was established in San Nicolò d'Arcidano, a small town in the Terralbese area, in the province of Oristano, renowned for the production of local grapes. The grapes are grown using integrated pest management, mainly on sand and at sea level, and the harvest is done entirely by hand. Azienda Lotta started its production from the family vineyards, those of the grandfather, producing at first only for domestic use. In 2010 the company itself was founded, and with it the acquisition of new vineyards and a more professional type of cultivation and vinification. This has not changed Lotta's philosophy, that of a small family business that focuses on quality rather than large quantities, and that aims to respect and protect the land. Annual production is under 10,000 bottles.
