It was several years ago that my father and I decided to dedicate ourselves to our vineyard. Thanks to this quiet place and to our passion for the vineyard, the grapes, the winemaking, I discovered a new and fascinating world. In the past the vineyard was for me "only" the day of the grape harvest, the gathering of family and friends to pick the fruit and finally the sharing of the big lunch. That's how we started, uprooting part of the old vineyard and planting the new cuttings, choosing them from grapes typical of the Mandrolisai area. I personally chose the planting patterns and assisted in their growth over the next few years. The path was not easy or immediate, it matured slowly through study, research and knowledge, and it is still not finished. Wine also needs our maturity, not just that of the grapes.
