From an early age, Erminio Caria has been fascinated by the art of woodcarving. His attentive gaze has observed for years the skilful hands of his master who, intent on creating different shapes created the Sardinian-style carved chests. These cupboards were once present in most of the island's houses. Today Erminio Caria is one of the most respected wood artisans operating in Sardinia, and his work has met with great success in the Fairs of Cagliari, Rome, Milan, Florence and Dubai. The production of his Guasila workshop, in addition to the chests, includes complete and custom-made furnishings. Caria’s handcrafted furniture has high quality materials and great attention to detail.
