Gelateria Artigianale Dolci Sfizi was born from the idea of its owner, Nicolò Vellino, to bring to the heart of Sardinia the experiences gained around Europe. Nicolò Vellino in facts gained his knowledge of chocolate in the years spent for work and study in Switzerland, where he acquired the certificate of Maître Chocolatier. Dolci Sfizi’s goal is the enhancement of Sardinian territory and its products. In 2020, Dolci Sfizi ice cream earned the three cones qualification, according to Gambero Rosso. It also got a special mention at the Sherbeth International Competition (in which the business participated with Tonara nougat ice cream). Dolci Sfizi does not only make ice cream, but also dry pastries and chocolates.
