Kibelis, whose name recalls the Nature Goddess Cibelis and the japanese Ki, is a new design brand born in 2018 from Mattia and Omar, two young students who came back to their hometown Cagliari to realise their dreams after living in Italy, Japan, Thailand and Guatemala. Kibelis’ design is focused on the Made in Italy high quality and artisanal expertise, but always with the goal of a greener world: the materials are selected among the best natural and certified sources, or from recycling and the transformation of surpluses and wastes. This way Kibelis blends Sardinian traditions and innovation: the products hid a NFC chip that allows them to tell via smartphone their stories and the environmental challenges of their sustainable materials.
