The Sartiglia masks trio made by Margherita Pilloni’s ceramic workshop reproduces the masks of the famous equestrian joust that has been held in Oristano for over 600 years, on the occasion of Carnival. The head of the race, or "Su Componidori", and a hundred riders in tow, parade on horseback wearing a mask and their traditional Sardinian costume. The model of the Sunday race is the one proposed by Margherita Pilloni in three different versions: one with ribbon and rosette and two with ribbon and band in satin and velvet. The trio of Sartiglia masks can be elegantly hung to decorate walls.
