Orgosa by Musina Giuseppe, founded in 2002, was the first company to produce bottled wine in Orgosolo. The Orgosa vineyards are located in the valley of Locoe, along the Nuoro-Orgosolo road, and are located on land composed of sand from granite debris. The main cultivated grape is the Cannonau, in addition to Carignano and Sangue di Cristo (Blood of Christ) in small quantities. Orgosa uses a biodynamic farming system, sowing the field with legumes and graminaceous plants, without the chemical fertilizers or systemic treatments. For the treatment, copper sulfur is used in very small quantities.
