The company was founded in 1983 as "RR Orafi in Sassari di Riccardo Dessì and Rocco Onnis S.d.f." The two members, both from Sassari and friends since elementary school, began working in 1977 at Riccardo's father workshop, following the tradition of three generations of goldsmiths. Two years later, in 1979, they moved to Valenza Po, one of the most important jewelery production poles in Italy and Europe. There they collaborated with professional goldsmiths and got experience in various handicraft factories with different production features. In 1983 is the return to Sardinia and the opening of the new company.
