Small Blue Jar

The small blue jar by Margherita Pilloni's ceramic laboratory is an object that takes its features from the traditional shape of ancient terracotta pot, glazed only inside and slightly below the edge, and traditionally used for the conservation of oil, pickled olives and wheat. The jar is completely enamelled in various shades of blue and light blue, evoking the crystalline Sardinian sea. It can be used as a food container, flower or umbrella holder, or as a simple piece of furniture.
