Traditional Pitchers Trio

The traditional pitchers trio made in the ceramic laboratory of Margherita Pilloni is a set of three typical containers for the transport and conservation of water and wine: the jug (sa brocca), pot-bellied shape with two elbow handles, traditionally used for transporting water from the fount; the water bottle (sa stangiada), for the water supply in the countryside; the ring amphora (su giranti), used to offer wine at parties. The three traditional pitchers are made entirely with lathe, and their internal lining is enamelled.
