“Invidia” Vermentino di Gallura by Consorzio San Michele is a DOC white wine grown in a typical Mediterranean climate characterized by spring and autumn rains, and by warm and breezy summers. Straw-yellow with greenish tones, Invidia (Envy) has a delicate scent of orange blossom and Mediterranean scrub, as well as fruity notes of pineapple and grapefruit. It is a delicate vermentino wine, with a good structure and a light touch. Balanced and elegant, with a pleasant bitterish sensation, Invidia Vermentino di Gallura is suitable as an aperitif, excellent with shellfish, molluscs, seafood, medium-aged cheeses, sweet pecorino, and with full but delicate sausages. Serving temperature is 8-10 C °.
