Sardinian chickpeas -3 pcs x 400 g

The Sa Laurera sardinian chickpeas are born from the recovery of a local variety of Marmilla, a beautiful hilly region of Sardinia. They are charachterized by small-to-medium sized and the remarkable capacity in volume during soaking. They grow on carefully selected fields for the cultivation of legumes, without fertilizers, herbicides and poisons. The Sa Laurera chickpeas are sown by hand in March and weeded by hand twice. Once they achieve maturity, in July, the plants are uprooted at down, dried in the sun and threshed. The harvested seeds are then screened and carefully sorted by hand.
