Cantina Trexenta’s Baione is a DOC Cannonau di Sardegna wine. The name refers to the cork vats that collected grapes during the harvest. Baione is a ruby red wine, with harmonious taste and aroma, which reveals the typical characteristics of cannonau, magnified in the palate where the savoury dry, warm and persistent flavour is tasted. This wine’s scent is pleasant and typical of its grapes quality. Baione cannonau ages in oak barrels for a year and in the bottle for six months. It is enhanced if combined with roasts and aged cheeses.
