Honey Eucalyptus

The eucalyptus honey produced by Casa Bonaria has a beautiful amber color, a particular and intense aroma, with notes of liquorice and woods. It is one of the most widespread and famous Sardinian honeys for its high quality. It crystallizes spontaneously quite quickly, giving rise to a compact mass, with fine or medium crystals, the color is light to dark amber when liquid, greyish beige when crystallized. Medium intense in smell and taste and persistent in the mouth, it recalls the sensation of licorice toffee, cappuccino, malt. It pairs very well, by affinity, with mature cheeses, such as Fiore Sardo pecorino.
