La Bottega della Cera by Maria Luisa Demuro was born in Muravera, eastern Sardinia, in 1999. The business regains and uses the ancient method of candle processing from one of the last Sardinian candle makers: Angela Cerina. Enchanted by the charm of this ancient art, Maria Luisa gives life to her creations addressing all fans of natural products. La Bottega della Cera produces candles of modern sizes and proportions, as well as an assortment of unique artistic wax objects, replaceable candles and tea-lights. These artifacts are made of pure beeswax coming from small, local beekeepers companies, and of raw cotton (for the preparation of the wicks) provided by Muraverese weavers. La Bottega della Cera creates a small, naturally perfumed, elegant, ecological and magical flame, which is capable of making people dream.
