The history of Frantoio Foddi began in the 1950s, immediately after the end of World War II, when "Uncle Nicolò" had the idea of restoring an old mill that had been dismantled. Years later, Dad Fiorenzo renewed it completely, and in 1991, Mom Angela, with the help of her four children, continued the process of renewal by combining ancient traditions with the most modern technologies. Since 2007, in the new headquarters, the oil mill is equipped with modern facilities that process the olives at controlled temperature, extracting the "cold" oil. The monitoring throughout the product transformation process also makes it possible to obtain a higher quality oil. Our family from three generations produces Extra Virgin Olive Oil of the highest quality and 100% Italian, preferring only local olives coming from the native cultivar "Nera di Gonnos", with the passion and sacrifice known only by those who work the land.
